WHAT is Animation SA?

Animation SA is a non-profit organisation that aims to develop and transform the animation industry in SA. The website is to provide information about the South African animation industry and be a community portal for animators, animation studios, schools and those interested in animation in South Africa.

WHY Advertise with Animation SA?

Animation SA is the ONLY website that specifically services the animation industry in South Africa. By advertising with us, you will not only be supporting the growth of our industry, but you will be?? reaching the entire South African Animation industry as www.animationsa.org is the first stop for anyone interested in or currently studying or working in animation, as well as potential employers of animators. We have a strong reputation for being the best place for animation news and resources in the country and on the continent.

WHO are you targeting?

Our own database of almost 2000 members ? including anyone working or wanting to work in the animation, visual fx, or gaming industry in Southern Africa.

We will be making more demographic and statistical information available as we collect it via questionnaires and analytics integrated with the new site. The previous site's final monthly statistics was 2300 unique visitors, 12600 page views and over 60 000 hits in one month? (July 2008).

ADVERTISE with Animation SA

Our advertising is impression-based rather than duration based which means that you only pay for the actual times your advert is displayed. This allows maximum flexibility as you can purchase as many impressions as your budget makes provision for and you are guaranteed that your ad will be shown to exactly that many visitors. When your impressions are running low you will receive a reminder e-mail letting you know that your ad will expire soon and you can decide whether to buy more ?airtime? or allow it to expire.

HOW Do I advertise?

1.) Firstly you decide what size and type of advert you would like to purchase.

• Button adverts (150x125)
• Banner adverts (500x100)
• Premium advert (320 x 280)

2.) Download the advertising template pack from the advertising page and design your advert or contact advertdesign@animationsa.org to arrange for us to design one for you.

3.) When you are ready with your banner, click one of the buttons below for the relevant size that you require, upload your design and enter the website address that visitors will go to when clicking the advert. Click Submit when you are ready.

4.) You will now be taken to your shopping cart where you will decide how many impressions of that advert you would like to buy. You enter this in the Quantity field of the cart and use the ?Update? button to work out what the cost what be. When you are happy you can proceed to Checkout.

5.) If you are an individual, school or company member then you automatically receive a 10% discount on advertising. If you have purchased a Press Office then you will automatically receive a 30% discount on all your advertising.

This is calculated in the checkout and the final amount is presented for your approval. You can choose to pay via credit card or bank transfer (only in South Africa) and once your payment has been confirmed you will receive an invoice via e-mai.

6.) Your advert will be approved and will appear on the site within 24hrs of the time that proof of payment was received.

7.) You will be able to view statistics on your advert at any time to see how many impressions you may have left and see how much interest your advert is generating. A screensnap of your statistics is included below.

 

 

8.) You are welcome to purchase as many adverts as you would like.
