Hi all,

Im thinking of starting a class, or get together for character design.  Im talking from the basics, traditional drawing.  I am just putting feelers out there to see if anyone mite be interrested? Then I could take it further if I get a good response.  This would be in the Cape Town area.  Not sure if I'l be charging at this stage yet?

Let's here from you. Do you think cape town could do with something like this?

thanks

Ys, thanks Stuart, ill keep you informed if I get something going.

Im not looking to do classes as much as im trying to get artists, mostly character designers and animators together in one place to mingle, sketch and exchange ideas! Only works when your face to face in the same room with others.

Sounds fantastic

Really sounds good. I'd be so down to join if i didn't live in joburg. Sounds like you might be talking some classical atelier style learning, it would be great to see all SA's conceptual minds working together to make everyone stronger.

If you can get it started, i can help publicize on the main page, you just need to have a definite plan of action. Maybe it could be good to charge, but go easy on the students.
There's a figure class in my area that is free to students, but it's following is mostly paying seniors. Maybe they just like to see skin that isn't covered in liver spots :P

Of course we all want you to do it for free, but really it's up to you man :D
If you really want people interested, drop me an email, you can find my address on my blog, link below.
cheers.
