Let me introduce myself. I am Vaughan Bentley, a very (I think) successful businessman and owner of Quza-it and some other smaller companies..
I want to give 10 people or more here the chance to be part of something big, something great, something where you can look back one day and say, YES, I WAS PART OF THAT.
10 + People , 50/50 graphics and programming, web designer, marketing, idea planner and designing etc.. I have the marketing skills and I will get a big international sponsor if need be to come on board, once they get on board the sky is the limit.
What I need now, are people who love game creating, people who program in their own time because they love it, NOT because it is their jobs! I will assemble a team, get the ideas up and get a demo out which we can market to someone like EA or whoever or keep it to ourselves!
We will work on a % based structure, or I am open to ideas, which means something simple like this:
If John programs 20% and puts the most effort into the development then John will receive 20% of the shares in the company available (let us call it ABC games). So once we market the game internationally or sell it to someone like EA games or whatever WE (since all involved will be shareholders – in writing) will split the profits accordingly where John will receive 20%.
I can provide the space (offices) and PC’s and telecommunication systems etc. that we all need. If you can only work from home and you are happy doing that, then so be it, we can arrange you to come in 2 or three times a week to keep you updated etc..
We have the talent, and just because we live in South Africa (3rd world) doesn’t mean that we can’t develop super games! It doesn’t mean we can’t program and that we have no talent! NO WAY! We can do it, and we can do it better because it is something we do that we LOVE!!
Go read the story of Sierra games, they grew from out their kitchen to sell to Activision for $1.5billion! The only difference between us and them will be that no one sells and walks away with all the profit, we are all part of this and we will ALL HAVE SHARES!
