The design team at The Jupiter Drawing Room Cape Town approached us with a great idea for this year's Design Indaba speaker intros. With the conference only 2 weeks away, the deadline was tight but we agreed anyway because we like a bit of a challenge. The basic idea was to create the intros as stadium flip-cards. Once we'd refined the idea a bit, we got stuck into the animation. The frame is made up of 1500 cards and every flip is different.

We produced 40 unique sequences, including the main intro loop and the LET IT OUT winner announcements at the Design Indaba EXPO.

Bernard Kotze from Big Sky Music provided the sound design elements and the final mix was done in-house at juju.
