Autodesk calls for entries for its annual Games Show Reel
In anticipation of the 2012 Game Developer Conference (GDC), Autodesk has announced a call for submissions for its annual Games Show Reel. The reel will debut at the Autodesk
booth (#1432, North Hall) during GDC from March 7-9, in San Francisco, CA, and
be featured on AREA, the Autodesk website and YouTube Channel, as well as at
other events throughout the year.
Exceptional game cinematics, trailers, in-game sequences and animations created throughout 2011 with Scaleform, Beast, HumanIK, Kynapse, Maya, 3ds Max, Softimage,
MotionBuilder and/or Mudbox are eligible for submission. If you recently
completed a qualifying project using any of the Autodesk Digital Entertainment
Creation software and middleware listed above, don’t miss the opportunity to
flaunt your talent; submit your work today.
The reel will debut at the Autodesk booth (#1432, North Hall) during GDC from March
7-9, in San Francisco, CA, and be featured on AREA, the Autodesk website and YouTube
Channel, as well as at other events throughout the year.
The deadline for video and imagery submissions is 13 January 2012.
Autodesk is especially interested in HD video and imagery for inclusion in its 2012 marketing
materials.
