Currently working as an animation lead on the feature film Khumba at Triggerfish in Cape Town, I have had the good fortune of a broad animation education; I have a diploma in 3D Character animation from Boston Media House, attended Wits School of the Arts, and currently hold a degree in Visual Arts in Animation from Griffith University in Australia.
As a student, my graduation film "Loskop" has been screened at various film festivals around the world, including the Munich International Student film festival and the Beijing Student Film Festival, both of which I was lucky enough to attend.
As a director at Bugbox Animation (2006-2011), I had the pleasure of working along side one of the the most dedicated and accomplished character animation teams in the country. Together we produced broadcast ads for local and international clients, and have produced our own independent animated DVD "The Adventures of Toby" which is being distributed in the USA by Word media.
With Animation SA, I have been involved with and run numerous community building projects, including the Animation SA Student Competition, the Kunjani'mation Animation Festival, and the ASA Life Drawing Group.
