SAE Institute Cape Town presents this highly practical 2 day program providing you a window into the World of Animation.
The SAE Bootcamp is designed for animation enthusiasts, students,
graphic designers, and anyone who would like to find out a little bit
more about this exiting thing called animation. Animation is not just
for people that can draw really well, actually it only forms a small
part of the animation process of recent years, some of the best
animators in the world, working for studios like Pixar, Dreamworks,
Aardman and ILM. can not draw much more than a stick man.
So if you want to know more about animation and get some hands on
experience on how it is done, come and spend a weekend with us,
learning more about animation and having some fun with it. We will be
showing you around our facility, and demonstrate how films like Shrek,
Toy Story and Monsters vs. Aliens get made.
There are no academic requirements to participate in this
programme. The only entry requirement is for the participant to be 16
years or over.
